9:00 am Fascination honey: "From honeycomb to the jar"

A morning at an open beehive followed by some sampling of various types of honey like dandelion, alpenrose and wild honey - incl. small honey gift!

11:30 am Tour of the farm of the Lerchenhof Biedermeier Castle

With sampling of the famous Gailtal Valley Bacon and an insight into the castle’s history. Option to enjoy lunch in the castle restaurant afterwards – menus on request.

1:30 pm Tour to the Loncium Brewery in Kötschach

With tour of the brewery, introduction to the history of the Loncium Brewery, technical explanation of the brewing procedure, the making of beer, information about various types of beer and sampling of all available types of beer.

3:15 pm Return through the Gailtal Valley with stop at the Gailtålbauer farm

The “Erleb’-wås-Bauernhof“ adventure farm in Kirchbach offers the opportunity to purchase regional products like bacon, cheese, alpine whey cheese, sausages and much more. Programme ends 4:00 pm.

Experience a future-oriented agricultural business with many information and experiences live and close up at “Carinthia’s most modern show farm“ in Kirchbach. Tasty hay milk cheese made from raw milk and much more is produced here. Surcharge incl. guided tour: € 6.00 per person.
