The regional food artisans have made the Gailtal, Gitschtal and Lesachtal Valley to the world’s first Slow Food Travel Destination. Ancient knowledge of traditional food production is passed on in the "Slow Food Travel Experiences" and/or the participants turn into co-producers themselves.
